See the Transformation
It doesn’t take much to turn a corner of your home into a fully functioning, calming workspace where you can actually get stuff done. All you need are a few home office ideas and a layout that suits your work style, the right mix of organization and décor items and the perfect chair (pictured # 2468137). Monica has some simple DIY projects to serve as inspiration for your home office makeover.
Standing (or Sitting) Desk
A desk that suits you will help you be more productive whether you like to stand while working or prefer to sit in a comfy space with the right items. To minimize distractions in your work area, and for a nice teleconferencing background, consider adding a privacy screen or room divider.
Here are some office essentials you might need:
Jumbo Memo Board
Make your own memo board wall to help organize your thoughts. Use curtain fabric (pictured # 856796) and foam insulation board like Monica did, or simply utilize a memo, bulletin or dry-erase board on your wall. It’s also a great place to post pictures, mementos and wall art that inspires you while you work.
